These water-resistant, flexible, nylon tabards are the perfect solution to making sure your pooch can be seen in the dark. In addition to its fluorescent material, each side of the tabard has a paw-shaped reflective panel (there’s another reflective panel at the front of the neck) – shine a car’s headlight on them and they really flare! This product is sold as a hi-viz aid.ÊWhilst they can also be used as lightweight raincoats, please regard that use as a bonus! The tabards are simple to fit using the two pairs of velcro’ed straps. Please measure around your dog’s chest and look at the sizing table amongst the product photos. With luck, your dog will unarguably fit into only one size of tabard. But it’s far more probable that you’ll need to make a choice between two or more sizes. All/Both might be OK to use; but one will be the optimum fit! Where you have a choice, the better size will generally be the larger size. But please remember, they’re tabards not coats; particularly on larger dogs, expect the length of the tabard to be less than the length of the dog. As you can see from the photo amongst the product photos, the range of sizes of these tabards suit dogs fromÊchihuahuas toÊGerman Shepherds (and beyond)! Whilst the larger sizes tend to work themselves out, choosing the optimum smaller size can be trickier. If you’re not sure which size will be best for your pooch send us a message and we’ll advise all we can. If necessary we’ll send a choice of sizes and you can return as you choose. For the cost of a stamp this is often the best approach! Here are some breed sizing guides: Size 1: Chihuahua, Pom; Size 2: Yorkie, Chinese Crested; Size 3: small Jack Russell, Bichon; Size 4: big Jack Russell, Cairn; Size 5: Westie, Cocker, Border Terrier; Size 6: Springers, Border Collies; Size 7: Retrievers, Boxers, female Rotties; Size 8: male Rotties, Newfies, Great Danes. But all dogs are different – please get the tape measure out!
